Practicing yoga means more than practicing asanas on the mat. Karma Yoga is a form of practice that puts yoga philosophy into action- acting selflessly in the service of others. Through this practice, we learn kindness and compassion without expectation of gain, stepping away from our ego, freeing us to move one step further on the path to enlightenment. It is about giving to those in need, sharing love, and spreading light.
Also, in line with the nature of Karma, giving something good of ourselves leads to being rewarded tenfold; our hearts will open, the flow of blood and energy will increase, and our health and happiness will improve.
It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.Mother Teresa
